Vidyalayam in Gurukula Tradition:

Despite their successful career, Parupalli Satyanarayana is very much ambitious to fulfill his inborn desire to seed the values of Annamacharya Sankeerthanas in every house hold through gurukul system.

Deeply honoring the training and guidance of his Gurus, he stepped into the teaching field. Initially as a Muci lecturer of Sadhana Annamayya Sangeeta Vidyalam, Satyanarayana later established his own Music Institution "Sri Sarada Annamayya Sangeeta Vidyalam" (SSASV) at Vizag.

Parupalli Satyanarayana always trusts that music is the solace to mankind and the best way to reach God. He is running the Vidyalam for the past 18 years and bagged several accolades from all the corners.

Sri Sarada Annamayya Sangeeta Vidyalayam is a dream come true for many a budding talent. From ahumble beginning with just a half a dozen students, it blossomed into a full-fledged institution in a very short time. The Vidyalayam today plays a very pivotal role in the promotion of message and works of Saint Annamayya in Visakhapatnam, the City of Destiny. The sangeeta Vidyalam imparts creative and systematic training to hundreds of students in understanding the rich and varied aspects of Annamayya's Srinivasa Tatvam and other Vaggeyakaaras's kruiti keertanas through the medium of Music, Cutting across the barriers of age, caste, and creed. The Sangeeta Vidyalam has a distinguished approach imparting Sangeeta Vidya to students and Music enthusiasts due to its high-spirited, vivacious, staunch, caring and divine atmosphere. It caters to the students of varied interests and offers different courses in Sastriya Sangeetam. The Students of the Vidyalayam have been regularly participating in several Cultural and cross-cultural muisc concerts all over the state. Students have participated in several programmes conducted each year by Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) to commemorate Annamayya Jayanti and Vardhanti held at Tirupati. On every third saturday students along with their Guru Sri Parupalli Satyanarayana perform concerts conducted by Annamayya Bhavana Vahini, (TTD Project) , in Vyzag. The students young and budding talents have bagged several prizes at various Sastriya Competitions held at district and state levels.

The Sangeeta Vidyalayam is blessed by many stalwards in the Music world like Dr.Bala Murali Krishna , Sri Nedunuri Krishna Murhy, Sri Annavarapu Ramaswamy, Sri Balakrishna Prasad, Sri Parupalli Ranganath, Smt. Shobaraju etc., The guidance and blessings of these music greats are a constant source of inspiration and driving spirit behind Sri Sarada Annamayya Sangeeta Vidyalayam.

The Saneeta Vidyalam is well recognized as a popular and notable institution today for its exceptional dedication to the propogation of Annamayya's and several Vaggeyakaras Compositions.
